CAB Medical Consultants has been providing quality medical case management for our insurance companies and self-insured clients for more than 15 years, and is an integral part of the claims management team. The consultants on staff are registered nurses who possess years of expertise in the workers' compensation field.
Together with the claims staff, our medical consultants have established standards and procedures for the coordination of treatment care plans and the rehabilitation of the injured employee. Our emphasis will always be to ensure that the claimant is receiving the appropriate medical care and rehabilitative services for the earliest possible return to work and resolution of the claim.
CAB Medical Consultants is an approved Peer Review Organization under Act 6 and an approved Utilization Review Organization under Act 44 of the Workers' Compensation Act for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Their resources include an extensive list of Board Certified Specialists who are experienced in Workers' Compensation Peer Reviews and Independent Medical Examinations.
